daffodils & lemon bars

It seems that I remind Drew quite a lot how much he never buys me flowers.  On our anniversary he surprised me with these daffodils.  I know that he bought them from a stand on the side of the road for a $1 a bunch (he bought 3), but who cares?  I loved them!


 I made lemon bars for dessert that night and I can see now that I may or may not have added too much powdered sugar.  Oops!  I also may or may not have eaten 2 pieces.  Don't judge ~ it was my anniversary!

    I also love lemon bars and daffodils! I'm still bitter that I made lemon bars for the Good Friday service and Alex wanted to leave right away so I didn't get to taste them!
